Data collected during browsing
Pensieri Densi uses Umami to understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used.

The statistics may concern:
- total number of visits;
- country of origin;
- pages and articles viewed;
- frequency with which articles are consulted;
- general technical information about the device and browser.

This data is used exclusively to understand which content is of greatest interest to readers and to improve the magazine.

Umami is configured without profiling cookies and with anonymisation measures. We do not use this data to identify individual readers, create personal profiles or send advertising.

Statistical data is retained for the period предусмотрed by the Umami service and in accordance with its retention settings.

Newsletter

Subscribing to the newsletter is optional and takes place exclusively when a person voluntarily decides to register through the dedicated form.
We use Brevo to manage subscribers and send communications.

Brevo mainly processes:
- email address;
- technical data required to manage the subscription;
- records of the subscription and any cancellation.

The newsletter is not used to send frequent solicitations or commercial communications. It is sent only when there is significant editorial news, such as new articles, contributions of particular interest or the participation of important authors.

The email address is retained until the subscriber decides to unsubscribe. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time through the link included in the communications received or by contacting Pensieri Densi.
As of 27 September 2026, the subscriber list has not yet been used to send newsletters.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, transfer or use subscribers’ data for advertising purposes.
The data is processed by the technical providers necessary for the operation of the services, specifically Umami for statistics and Brevo for the newsletter, in accordance with their respective data processing agreements.
Data subject rights
Every person may request:
- confirmation of the existence of their data;
- access to the data;
- correction or updating;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- data portability, where applicable.

Requests may be sent to redazione@pensieridensi.it.

It is also possible to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Updates

This privacy notice may be updated when the services used or the methods of processing change.
